Over 20,000 plants of timber value mainly teak, two varieties of mahogany, jak and indigenous varieties such as kumbuk were planted in the watersheds of the two reservoirs. The two reservoirs provide water to irrigate over 1000 acres of paddy in the area.

One central nursery and five smaller nurseries established in home gardens of members. Several groups formed and Committees appointed for the planting and maintenance of the plants. In the areas where planting was done in state lands the District Secretariat and other officials offered fullest cooperation by attending meetings and

Awareness raising of students in four schools in the area completed. The booklets distributed.

Due to the planting campaigns of the project the people in the area has renewed interest in planting and many requests for plants are being received and planting is ongoing as a result. The CBO gained recognition as an environment organization in the area.
