The following activities were carried out during execution of this project: expansion of the medicinal plant garden to an area of 20,000 square meters; assembly of the phytotherapeutical laboratory; assessment of the 100 Cerrado species most commonly used by the population in the region; photographic records of the plants taken; meeting of stakeholders in the medicinal plant activity. The activities were considered in line with the achievement of project goals. The meeting was very productive, and generated ideas of introducing phytotherapeuticals in the public health system. Difficulties faced were mainly in the delays caused by partners, who did not contribute according to plan. Despite these minor setbacks, the project performed well, reaching its objectives successfully.
