1. A bi-annual journal printed in the two languages Sinhala and Tamil - 8 no.s (4 Sinhala, 4 Tamil) for the year. The publication standard was professional for a school's society.
2. The four numbers focussed on the four GEF thematic areas of Bio diversity, Climate change, Land Degradation and the Ozone Layer.
3. The NGO comprises mainly teachers from schools in one district (Kalutara), they had a wide reading public of school children who found the magazine of immense educational value.
4. Successful adopting of a participatory approach in collecting articles and poems on environment. This was a popular feature as the students were keen to get their essays and poems published in the magazine.
5. The magazine was much in demand to be used in workshops and seminars on environment.
6. The difficulties in publishing in two languages with limited financing and a voluntary membership was learned especially in getting selected articles translated into Tamil.
