Providing Innab Al-Kabear village with electrification by promoting solar and wind energy technology.
The project promots the application of hybrid system of solar and wind energy for domestic and public electrification in the boarder village in Innabl Al Kabear in Hebron in the southren area of the Palestinian Authority.The project enables 10 houses of 64 inhabitants, the mosque and the school to use 24/h eclectricity services as a sustainable alternative to the old deasil generator. Also, the project gives a special focus on raising community awareness on energy effeciency and saving techniques and peovids training on system manitenance for members of the community committee.

Notable Community Participation
The project formes a community committee of 7 members who facilitates the community contribution through providing the needed piece of land for building the sattion, getting the approval of the land owners to allow for the electerical network to bypass through their lands, paying the amount of NIS 9000 for house connections,digging holes for fixing the electricity columns.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The project provides access to more effective energy source by altering the use 3/hours a day diesel generator and installing 24 /hours solar/wind source of electrification. Which enable the villagers to store their food in a healthy condition, use internment of education media i.e. TV / radio. GEF/SGP also helps to draw the attention of other donors to contribute to the baseline development needs of establishing water-harvesting unit.
