Improvement of Rural Community Livelihood through Sustainable Use of Biological Resources
The project aims at conserving biodiversity in the decreasing forest areas in Jordan in a significant forest ecosystem threatened by degradation. It also aims at introducing sustainable land use practicies that contribute to biodiversity protection and positively affect the economic and social situation of the local population in the Wadi Ragib watershed area. The Watershed Mangement Project/GTZ is providing technical assistance to this project.

Capacity - Building Component
Local community members are the direct beneficiaries of the project. The NGO is implementing the activities through loaning to beneficiaries so that the project maintains its sustainability and continues to serve the community.
