Associate Ranger Programme/ Aqaba
Associate Ranger Programme/ Aqaba
The project will teach young volunteers (ages 16-20) similar skills to those of a Marine Park ranger, including marine biology classes, scuba diving, park patrol, communication skills and other related fields. The Marine Park in Aqaba Gulf is part of a regular GEF project implemented by the Aqaba Region Authority. The project will also train younger volunteers (ages 12-15) on marine conservation, swimming and snorkeling, public awareness activities as well as general marine safety. It is expected that the activities of this project would contribute to the conservation of marine environment in the Aqaba Gulf.
