Use of Clean and Renewable Energy and Establishment of a Science Park in the UN Tent City Kocaeli
Construction of a solar house within the UN tent city furnished as a science park (science experiments playing area) in Kocaeli (one of the most effected city from the earthquake in Turkey in August 1999 where thousands of people lost their relatives and houses have been living in the Tent cities.) The house with solar collectors and solar cells produces hot water and electricity. Hot water obtained from solar collectors is connected and utilised in the two cabins of shower and one washing facility building n the tent-city. The electricity is used for illimunation of both inside and outside of the solar house.
