Popularization of a Compendium of Medicinal Plants (MINDANAO)
The prpject is an action research and publication of a compendium on Philippine medicinal trees and plants to assist in creating and encouraging awareness among Visayan-speaking communities. It is an SGP-proactive project, the document aims to assist in creating and encourage sustaining awareness among local communities towards: mobilizing an information education and communication (IEC) system for biodiversity conservation; institutionalizing community-based education and research; and sustainable use of biodiversity and equitable sharing of biodiversity benefits.
