The villagers are not aware of its environmental value and importance.
The main activities of the project are:
Introduction of alternative energy generating methods in place of use of forest resources for energy needs by the community.
Ensure economic benefits through efficient use of energy.
Educational programme on bio diversity conservation, sustainable development and efficient use of energy, awareness raising on biodiversity protection, efficient use of energy for school children and income generation for communities living around three environmentally sensitive areas.
