1. 2 community groups formed for environment conservation work in the 2 villages.
2. One workshop on identifying problems and issues of environment of the two villages with the participation of relevant government officers including Forest Department officials was held. The video documentaries on environment shown at the meeting were effective tools on information dissemination.
3. The five 'Environment Knowledge Competitions' held in four schools were very popular and had the participation of 80% of students and teachers.
4. 11450 plants established in the nurseries by the community groups, plants were mainly Bakmi - Nauclea orientalis, Maa Dang - Syzygium cuminii, Davata - Carallia brachiata, all the plants were planted in 2 sessions and maintenance done by the children and community members.
5. 2 excursions were made by the members to two forests in the district where they observed the logging and fast depletion of forest resources by unscrupulous persons.
6. Environment Day exhibition was celebrated through displaying banners and posters in prominent places in the two villages.
