Although not explicit in the project design, women participated in conservation and livelihood activities.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
During the course of the project, a livelihood revolving support fund amounting to Php 60,000 per barangay was established. The fund shall be treated as loan payable within two year with an interest of 10% per annum. Only envbironment-frinedly and sustainable projects may be formed.
