Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Fish catch is expected to increase as a result of mangrove planting activities. Fisherfolk organizations can also make mangrove nurseries income-generating projects. Mangrove propagules and seedlings can be sold to government agencies (like the Department of Agriculture) and to other fisherfolk groups.
