The baseline survey of the micro-hydro project will be undertaken by the Kenya Rural Enterprise Programme (K-REP). The main purpsoe of the baseline survey is to document the status and the level of development at the beginning of the project. The status at the start of the project will be compared with the end of project situation to be able to assess the level of impact of the project in the short and long run.
