Community Management of Natural Resources in the Southern Grenadines
The planned project activities are as follows:
- A number of workshops, consultations, cultural wakes and hands-on activities to increase community participation in management of marine and coastal resources;
- Community participation in identifying suitable landfill sites and in the preparation of solid waste and liquid waste management plans for targeted Grenadine islands; and
- Community monitoring of coastal resources (including fish stocks, sand mining etc.)
