The utilization of animal and agriculture residues to produce biogas as a source of sustainable renewable energy
The project will introduce and promote the use of biogas technology in the Palestinian community particularly among farmers and industries by studying the factors and variables affecting the efficient production of biogas through establishing pilot and experimental unit to produce gas from the orange rinds and chicken guts and some agricultural residues as a raw material. Through variety of activities, the project will also disseminate the experience of the renewable energy technology by organizing workshops, site visits and producing publications to raise community awareness of the feasibility and possible replicability of the new technology.
