The project was completed. The grant resulted on a grant planning of self-assesment of the needs to expand their organizational capacities as GEF/SGP alliance/partners, despite the fact that some of the NGOs have already had their own capacities and sufficient organization management skill. Some of the aspect needs to be improve or strengthen are: organizational management, data and information management, financial management and skill to perform litigation advocacy and non-litigation.
The process of the assessment review itself suceeded in bridging gaps between alliance of GEF SGP partners. The tools and methodology had helped the participants to diagnose their local capacity and organizations in an honest and objective ways. During the presentation workshop, the assessment result facilitated by PAKT could come up with sollution for institutional problems which the organizations never noticed before. Some of the reccomendation are: to form a reflection or evaluation forum for the NGOs with problems in their management which included local community and other stakeholders, more management training, database and information system, financial management trainings and advocacy improvement.
