The project was completed. The grants resulted not only conservation of water resource in ecosytem conservation, but also various effort related to planting production and supply of equipment and organic-fertilizer. The program also had been duplicated by other local programs. The member of organization also received lesson-learned from the process, especially water resource conservation, further enhanced their organizational capacity and management. The community also visited the group to learn about the program and consultated with the group members about future programs. There are significant changes in awareness and attitude from the society that could be monitored through the local media coverage.
Lesson learned taken: the high needs of community on water makes the process easier for them to participate, especially in water resource ecosystem preservation. The community also increased their awareness in their water problems so that they initiated rehabilitation on the damage ecosystem. They also realized that the conservation effort leads to other benefit, such as planting conservation trees, organic fertilizer and participation in public decision making.
