Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
Instructions during installation of hatch boxes, education about barn owl and bat habits and positive role played in local ecosystems, what is a very important especially with bats (rather hostile attitude of average people in rural areas based on the lack of knowledge and prejudices)
Policy Impact
Unbelieveable educational potentia of this project: reaching a very influential, especially in rural areas, partners; even a few words about nature protection (St. Francis of Assisi!) during Sunday services can do a lot, much more than money from grants.
