Construction of 182 devices ( small wooden/stone made dams) stabilizing or raising ground water level in 45 wetlands of total area of 1000 hectares;
- environmental evaluation of wetland area of total 2000 hectares (prepared for potentail further action) including Przeclawsko-Przemkowskie Swamps, alluvial forests on Oder River near Slubice and 5 natural reserves in Lubuskie Voivodship;
- protection plans prepared for 200 objects of different size in area of regional forest directorates in Szczecin and Zielona Gora;
- organisations of trainings for 60 foresters from forest divisions in Zielona Gora, Szczecin, Poznan, Wroclaw and Szczecinek;
- publication of wetland protection was published and widely distributrd, mostly in forest departmens, also University libraries and institutes, NNGOs, experts;
- propagation of wetlands in Poznan TV.
Final result: 12 forest divisions from 3 regional directorates were mobilised and actively participated in project implementation
. Project gave a good ground for continuation of work on another 3000 hectars of forest area in Western Poland and EU LIFE + was received.
