Public awareness about the GEF/SGP through issue of electronic newspaper "Kazakhstan EcoPravda"
Sharing information is one of the most important constituents of success both for SGP and each project.
Information distribution will raise awareness of different focus groups about the GEF SGP mission; strengthen confidence of a wide public to the SGP through better understanding of the SGP role in environment and sustainable development problems solution; will make SDGP activities more efficient and assist resource mobilization by means of better understanding of potential donors the opportunities the SGP offers to satisfy their own interests.
Based on these factors, the SGP focuses attention on information distribution at all the stages of its activity. Thus, information dissemination through eloctronic newspaper will greatly expand an audience of the programme potential partners. For the SGP partners it will help disseminate information at the local level more efficient, establish partnership contacts and attract additional donor financial resources .
Within the project implementation a regular publications about the SGP will be arranged in electronic newspaper "EcoPravda" for 1 year, permanent monitoring over influence of information dissemination about the SGP on different focus groups will take place, printed copies of the newspaper will be spread out among NGOs and CBOs of the remote areas.
Information dissemination through electronic newspaper will lead to the SGP audience enlargement, strengthen of functional links with all the parties concerned both at the programme and project level.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Information about the GEF/SGP in Kazakhstan will be published three times each month. This information will include current news, the agenda for NSC meetings, details about the on-going projects, and the resulrs of field missions. Through this project, the electronic newspaper "Kazakhstan EcoPravda" will work to expand the GEF/SGP audience in Kazakhstan and to create functional links with different target groups both at programme and project levels.
