Capacity Building for Wetland Reserve Management and Education at the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary
A capacity building project that aims to: (i) Enhance capacity and technical capabilities of various stakeholders, especially NGOs and CBOs, in the management, conservation and sustainable use of wetlands; (ii) Build the capacity of key NGOs and CBOs in designing, planning and implementing environmental education programmes for the younger generation and their multipliers; and (iii) Use the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary as the model site for installing appropriate facilities and for conserving and sustainably using its environment and natural resources.
