The project were able engaged in community assisted natural regeneration and sustainable agriculture where five community-based foresters undergo basic forestry training; 11 community nurseiries using endemic species were established; community tree planting and forest protection activities were calendared; people's organizations (PO) committees were organized to implement and managed the model farm project on appropriate technology; and 4 farms have been developed, sustained and replicated in other areas.

In terms of community organizing: 26 community volunteers were trained in resource conservation; community-based project management committees have been set-up in project implementation and fund management; environmental paralegal teams has been organized in each community; and Banahaw-wide protected sustainability plan have been formulated.
