Through this project intends to be demonstrated and in the same time to be improved the social economic conditions of local community through improvement of environmental-ecological living conditions The main aim of the project is to clean up, to protect and well manage the Kashar water reservoir. The Kashar reservoir will be used as a "model" for other communities in Tirana and other cities order to promote them to undertake such initiatives. Women involvement is considered of a great importance in the project. The project will also realize the biological water purification, turn of organic cattle manure to a useful product-increase of fish stock. The local community's members will work to clean up the streams and flows that bring water in the reservoir; to create the proper conditions for increasing the fauna in water reservoir such as fish, water birds and so on. Strong campaigns will be developed for rising the public awareness . A brochure and a leaflet will be published. A videocassette will be produced. A seminar will be organised with a wide people participation
