This planning grant will mainly be used to afford some field trips to some areas in Albania, where bobcat lives and grows. This areas are: Shkodra, Malesi e Madhe, Puka, Bulqize, Mat, Librazhd and Devoll. Meetings, discussions with local communities and their involvement in the project are considered of a great importance for drafting a successful project. The main directions where the project will consist are:
- Determination of the bobcat's habitats in Albania
- Evidence of actual problems of this specie in different areas
- Conclusions and ideas will be drafted in a new project on bobcat's evidence, protection and its increase.
