This project aims to introduce in concrete terms the agricultural practices in the area of 'Kurveleshi i Siperm', particularly of harvest of spontaneous plants with commercial values, providing in the same time the biodiversity protection of the area and increase of local community incomes, in order to ensure a steady rural development. In the end of the project, 20 farmers are intended to be defined as 'organic farmers' for trading their production under the label 'organic', in accordance with international standards of IFOAM. The project also aims to establish 'a steady link' among the farmers and 'organic markets'. Thus, the initiative of gathering all farmers in an 'Association of Organic Producers' will be fully supported in this project. Two expeditions will be developed in the zone, to point out the threatened plants by extinction and the present situation of this area. A report will be drafted and a seminar will be held about the results of these expeditions. Public awareness activities will be developed for biodiversity protection. The project achievements will be distributed to a wide range of people using leaflets and mass-media.
