Assessment of biodiversity and specific ecosystems in the Borshi valley
Assessment of biodiversity and specific ecosystems in the Borshi valley
The project aims at highlighting the natural beauties and environmental concerns risen over the last decades in the Borshi Valley. The project will try to identify environmental problems, both, inherited and recently created, and would end up by offering professional and realistic solutions for a coordinated and sustainable development of the area.
One of the most important objectives to be implemented by this project is to identify some measures that need to be taken for the conservation, protection and preservation of the Mediterranean vegetation at the Borshi valley.
A database will be created for this purpose and ecological and biodiversity corridors will be outlined. Field expeditions, inventories, historical and cultural values will be identified and continuous communication with the locals will be established.
In the framework of this project, a scientific brochure and a leaflet will be prepared, TV talks, debates and public awareness campaigns will be organized
