Habitat restoration in Berzana reserve
This project aims at protection and restoration of habitat at the Berzana Reserve. This reserve is used as habitat for many species listed for protections such as wolf, boar, etc.. This project also aims at raising the awareness of the local authorities, will support the ratification of the biodiversity law, and will require assignment of an adequate administrative authority, involving the local community in the protection of the area and resolving their social-economic problems.
Activities in the framework of this project fall under the categories of habitat restoration, awareness raising, monitoring, etc. Special attention will be given to communication with the locals and information on the species under concern.
Several materials for dissemination e.g. leaflets, brochures, interviews with the locals, posters, etc. will also be produced.
