Construction of an artisan workshop and a store to sell crafts and handmade productos using raw materials coming from forest.
Project pretends to do good use of the natural resources come from the forests, rivers, creeks, and archaeological places located in the "Polochic River Delta Wildlife Refuge".
The main objective is to reduce the pressure from the people on the natural forest through the establishment of a workshop and handmade store using as raw materials products coming from the forest.
The specific objectives of the project are to provide to community people the appropriate training and an adequate workplace to handmade their crafts with high quality. At side, supply them of an appropriate place to sell their products,
among them: earrings, chains, bracelets, rings, pins, key rings, wall decorations, office decorations, fabrics and memories in variety.
This is supplemented with a training process for 44 peoples in the aspects referred to: architecture, graphic design, culinary art, cestería (fashion of baskets), tejeduría (fashion of typical fabrics,) administration, basic accounting, agroforesty, gender and social organization.
As a final products will have the employment generation for all the participants in different aspects and types of handiworks as well as the commercialization of products, with a conservative vision; generating economic revenues that limit the pressure on the natural resources of the local forest.
