Project Planning for Conserving and Sustaining Uludag's National Park Biodiversity
Project Planning for Conserving and Sustaining Uludag's National Park Biodiversity
Uludag was declared a National Park in 1961 due to its bio-diversity. However becoming a tourist and ski center, Uludag's biodiversity, especially vegetation is subject to continuous destruction. The main issues in the site are landslides and erosion on the ski tracks and visitors' pressures on fragile habitats of endemic plants.
