Approximately 96,250 people benefited from innovations implemented during this project and another 20,000 will benefit in the future. It is estimated that as a result of this project the annual energy consumption will be reduced by 2,000MWh and therefore air emissions will be reduced by 460t of CO2 equivalent, and 0.6t of NOX. The organization has improved its capacities, and the activities of the project have contributed to the formation of a national environmental policy.
Innovation: For the first time, training courses on energy management were organized for managers of multi-apartment buildings. Innovative computer software - a simple energy loss calculation programme accessible to the Homeowners Associations - was developed.
