60% of the work will be done by local communities.

Food crop production in Africa is primarily the work of women. The project will reduce women's workload in this regard.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment

Project aim at benefitting the global environment through reduction of green house gas emmissions because, solar power is used instead of diesel.

Project Results

The project is still ongoing. However, up to this stage the following has been realized:-

(1) Increased cohesion by group members through working together.

(2) Increased problem solving capacity through solving problems which emerged in the course of project implementation.

(3) Increased awareness on global environmental issues through awareness creating initiatives.
