Mount Ogga Conservation Project.
The planning grant was given to MOYG to develop a full proposal to conserve the habitat for two important species of birds of paradise, namely; the Red Plumes Bird of Paradies and the Superb Bird of Paradise. Reforestation activities will also be carried out adjacent to the virgin forest to minimize the grassland that is colonizing the area at a faster rate.
