Community-based Conservation of the Leatherback Turtle Around the Huon Coastline.
The project is located at the Kamiali WMA, Morobe Province. The community around the Huon coastline and Kamiali took the approach to conserve the leatherback turtles found around the Houn coastline. The community with the assistance form the Village Development Trust Inc. are currently monitoring the population of the turtles and conducting other scientific studies as well.
