The project will focus on the community-based coastal resources management seminar. These will be provided among the community leaders to be able to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of program. Capability-building means empowering teh community through education, training and organizational development. Environmental or conservation education is a critical part of capacity-building. It build a common understanding of teh complex and interrelated aspects of coastal resources management by emphasizing local issues, environmental education that can build awareness and skills that will contribute to teh capacity of the individual members and communities to effect change. Community leaders build their confidence through the acquisition of knowledge and skills. It also includes building and strengthening the peoples organizational capacity. All these efforts are directed towards achieving greater autonomy and self-reliance for the community-based organizations and the community as a whole.

The project will focused on environmental conservation. Examples of it are: establishment of marine reserve and sanctuaries, and mangrove reforestation and rehabilitation. Environmental conservation focuses on the rehabilitation, enhancement and protection of the coastal habitats and is closely linked with regulation and strict enforcement of environmental laws to minimize the damaging impact of some activities on the coastal resource base.
