The objective of this project is :
(1)To alleviate poverty through increased agricultural production througth rehabilitation of community based irrigation scheme (Umbwe OnanaIrrigational canal).
(2) To increase efficiency of Umbwe Onana irrigation canals and ,
(4) To promote water and soil conservation among farmers and water user of the Umbwe Onana irrigational canal.
