The project was approved and implementaed during 1999-2001. Very few documents are available for Impact assessment as the NHI was different. Communication was made with the organisation to provide the documents and write ups. Visit was also made to the analyse the status of the project.

- The project was definitely instrumental in affecting biodiversity and in the long run affecting ground water in approximately 250 hectare of common lands. It is however to be noted that these effects are achieved only after sustained efforts of over a decade.
- It was felt that with active forest conservation work of converting dry pine -dominated forests into mixed broad -leaf Oak dominated forest biodiversity is restored to a great extent.
- The linkages have been achieved through the involvement of communities including women giving them employment, income generation opportunity and a bit towards biodiversity conservation,
