The primary objective of the project is to make women aware of the potential of solar power, particularly for cooking, as a way of making use of a natural source of energy which in no way harms the environment, even when populations increase. The project plan envisages lead members becoming involved in constructing solar box cooking units, and promoting their use in villages through demonstrations, workshops and training.
