The project established the necessary infrastructure for management presence. The administrative and monitoring capacity has been increased through the placement of staff on site on a full time basis.
There is increased awareness of the reserve and its potential benefits for generating income and that the area is no longer available for hunting.
There are reduced incidences of trespassing indicating a change of attitude about the status of the reserve and a change in behavior.
The construction of a resource center along with protection personnel, environmental education and community outreach approach has been followed in Golden Stream Corridor Preserve, Spanish Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, Mayflower Bocawina National Park and Don Elijio Panti National Park.
