Promoting Marine tour guide training in communities that impact the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System
The main objective of this project is to provide fisher folks and tour guides with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will assist them to become efficient tour guides. This goal is in tandem with COMPACT?s Programme Strategy, which seeks to provide improved training for existing tour guides, as well as provide guide training to fishers who have traditionally used the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System (BBRRS) to earn their income.
