The settlers will be responsible for producing the agroecological products.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Approximately 500 settler families will benefit from this project, for a total of nearly 2,000 people. These people will embark on environmentally sustainable production, free of agrotoxins and other techniques which damage the environment. Riparian woods in the settlement areas will be protected, and the potential for rational use of their natural resources will be increased.
