Comunicação e Articulação do Fórum das Organizações Não Governamentais do Distrito Federal e Entorno
Communication and interchange in civil society is the main goal of this project, with the expected results of reduced occupation in a disorderly fashion of the Distrito Federal and surroundings. Conservation of the regional biodiversity and reduced soil degradation will be achieved through activities that will attract the public?s attention to these problems, such as conferences, regional meetings, meetings among NGOs, dissemination material, media coverage, and others. Conventional and modern communication tools such as newspapers and the Internet will be used to strengthen the environmentalist movement in the Distrito Federal and surroundings. Environmental regulations will be enforced by the implementation a system of denouncement for the crimes. The following activities are planned in the project proposal: organization of the Forum Secretariat; publication of a newsletter; maintenance of the Forum?s webpage; implementation of a weekly news bulletin; assembly of a denouncement system for environmental crimes; weekly forum meetings; Itinerant meetings in the Forum?s areas of activity; participation in councils, committees and other organizations; constant contact with local and national media.
