The following points were identified for the project: poverty in the AMST region is such that the project seeks citizenship, education, higher income, self-esteem and infra-structure - it is a charitable organization; the association is not yet ready to work with medicinal plants and meet local, regional and national regulation criteria; there is hardly any Cerrado in the region, since they are in an urban area; there is a limit for real positive impacts generated by projects viewing reforestation of riparian woods; among the species of fruit to be processed, many have little to do with the Cerrado, being exotic and conventional - mango, avocado, acerola; it is not clear how the organization will survive after the end of SGP funding, since electricity, rent and water are paid for by the porject; some concerns regarding the project proposal wre not addressed, such as 'GEFability', justification for the execution by a group of urban women, definition of concrete results and deadlines, specification of the implementaion plan for the plant nursery, preparation of a production plan, presentation of a simplified business plan, definition of awareness-builidng activities. For these reasons, the project did not become a full SGP project. It was made clear, however, that once the organization has reached the technical and administrative conditions enabling their presentation of a new, improved project, that it could and should be done.
