Due to the co-dependence of the SGP grant and another funding source for realization of this project, the planned results were not fully met. The technical assistance, which would have been provided by the other source, was delayed in its activities. The communities learned that despite the great assistance brought about by the existence of more than one source of financial support, if the lack of one compromises the results of another, this can bring difficulties. Nevertheless, the training courses did happen, with the participation of couples representing different Krahô villages. Nurseries were installed in the villages, and some promotion material was assembled. The Krahôs became more aware of the importance of the biome for their survival and continuation of their customs and traditions. Traditional songs were recorded, and all revolved around the same subject ? nature. Ecological awareness was then valued, and reforestation was started with the plants from the nurseries.
