The majority of the objectives planned for this project was successfully reached. This sets an example of indigenous protagonism in the conscience-building process on the environmental subject. The only activity planned in the proposal which was not implemented was a workshop on organic composting, which could not take place due to delays in project execution. The Nova Esperança Indigenous Community had no previous projects and learned many lessons from its execution. An indigenous tradition center was proposed as a result of this success, for the sale of typical products and the creation of a brand name for indigenous products. An organic garden was also proposed for commercialization and food security in the village.
