Photovoltaic panels as an alternative source of electricity to be used for drinking water supply and irrigation in rural areas of Albania
This planning grant will be used to assess the feasibility to use a photovoltaic system for water supply in the villages of Hysgjokaj and Stravec. This assessment consists in selecting the communities to be supplied with potable and irrigation water; performing measurements on solar radiation for confirming and completing the data, necessary to evaluate accurately the project technically and financially; investigating on the photovoltaic market and selection of a PV supplier.
