Protection of the sea turtles and raising of public awareness on their preservation
This project will conduct a public awareness campaign on the protection of sea turtles as an world endangered species and will organize several expeditions in the coastal area of Albania in order to confirm the presence or absence of the sea turtles in the Albanian coast. Main components of this project are: awareness campaign with the fishermen and the local community in order to not to kill the turtles that get trapped in fishing nets.
Four seminars will be organized in the main coastal cities, posters, leaflets T-shirts and a brochure will be produced.
