Eco-Fest 2001: Celebrating International Ecotourism in Ghana
Eco-Fest 2001: Celebrating International Ecotourism in Ghana
The project showcased ecotourism as an alternative use of Ghana?s diverse natural resources for the economic development of the country. Conservation of Biodiversity and its sustainable use as in ecotourism rather than the previous emphasis on logging and timber/timber product export was the main focus of the festival that attracted exhibitors and resource persons within the ECOWAS sub-region and beyond.
