Ecological production of native vegetables as an alternative for coffee production crisis in four communities located in the slopes of the Pecul volcano, Nahualá, Sololá.
Through the use of organic farming methods and techniques this project will enrich the natural shade of previously established small coffee plots, in order to conserve and bring back native species of fruit bearing trees and vegetables (10 species in total) and at the same time provide a replicable example of environmentally conscious coffee plantation diversification, on the Southern slopes of the Pecul volcano protected area.
