To reduce green house gases emission from pile of organic waste
Project Objectives :
1. To empower community organization
2. To support local government in waste management
3. To provide additional value on organic farming which is supported by local farming authority?s policy which ultimately increase community welfare
Expected Outputs :
1. The establishment of community alternative income source activity
2. The ability of local government and local community in managing waste
3. The emergence of local farming authority ?s policy which support the uses of organic
fertilizer (compost) and increased community welfare
Activities to be conducted :
A. In order to accomplish objective 1 : To empower community organization, the activities to be conducted :
1. Strengthening community organization by establishing a cooperative
2. Infrastructure building
3. Training and mentoring
B. In order to accomplish objective 2 : To support local government in waste management, the activities to be conducted :
1. Establish a collaboration effort from local government and establish the pilot project to be a model for other areas
2. Establishment of pilot project
3. Marketing
C. In order to accomplish objective 3 : To provide additional value on organic farming which is supported by local farming authority?s policy which ultimately increase community welfare, the activities to be conducted :
1. Market network with local farming authority
2. Extend the uses of compost to farming sector
D. Monitoring and evaluation
