Project development Goal :
To conserve Bauluang Island?s ecosystem through community participation
Project Objectives :
1. To emerge local community efforts in managing mangrove ecosystem in sustainable manner
2. To stimulate the emergence of local rules and regulation on nature resource management (e.g. mangrove) through community participation

Expected output :
a. Emergence of awareness and understanding of local community on sustainable nature resource management
b. Reduced unsustainable used of mangrove forest, especially done by local community
c. Reduced degraded mangrove area in Bauluang island gradually
d. Increased capacity of local community in alternative income generating activities
e. Increased acknowledgement of role of traditional knowledge in nature resource management and use it as reference in developing area management planning
f. Compilation of draft of community area management planning and to increase stakeholders awareness on the matter
g. Opened information access on produce marketing for local community
h. Emergence of local organization (cooperative) to facilitate economic activities of local community
i. Increased bargaining position of local community toward nature resource management
